Prune Bread

Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in the melted butter, buttermilk, and chopped prunes.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
