Ingredients
- 2 cups gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, chopped coriander, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Add water gradually to form a smooth and thick batter.
- Spread the batter on a greased plate and steam for 10 minutes.
- Once cooled, cut the steamed batter into small diamond-shaped pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the pieces until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- पुडची वडी (Pudachi Vadi) is ready to be served.
