Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the mint leaves, cilantro, green chilies, onion, cumin seeds, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Add a little water and blend to a smooth paste, adding more water if needed to reach the desired consistency.
- Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Refrigerate the chutney for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
