Ingredients

  • 400ml coconut milk
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the sugar over medium heat until it melts and turns golden brown to make the caramel.
  2. Slowly pour in the coconut milk while continuously stirring to combine with the caramel.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together.
  4. Gradually pour the coconut milk mixture into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
  5. Strain the custard mixture to remove any lumps and pour it into individual ramekins.
  6. Place the ramekins in a steamer and steam for 30 minutes until the custard is set.
  7. Remove from the steamer and let it cool before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
  8. Serve the Puding Santan Karamel chilled and enjoy!
