Ingredients
- 400ml coconut milk
- 100g granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the sugar over medium heat until it melts and turns golden brown to make the caramel.
- Slowly pour in the coconut milk while continuously stirring to combine with the caramel.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together.
- Gradually pour the coconut milk mixture into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
- Strain the custard mixture to remove any lumps and pour it into individual ramekins.
- Place the ramekins in a steamer and steam for 30 minutes until the custard is set.
- Remove from the steamer and let it cool before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
- Serve the Puding Santan Karamel chilled and enjoy!
