Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup tamarind paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1/4 cup peanuts
- 2 dried red chilies
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, peanuts, and dried red chilies. Sauté until the peanuts are golden brown.
- Add tamarind paste, turmeric powder, salt, and curry leaves. Cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cooked rice to the tamarind mixture and mix well until the rice is coated evenly.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
