Ingredients

  • 2 lbs octopus, cleaned and tenderized
  • 1 pineapple, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the diced pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside to let the flavors meld.
  3. Brush the tenderized octopus with the remaining olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until charred and cooked through.
