Pumpkin Cake
This delicious pumpkin cake is perfect for the fall season. It's moist, flavorful, and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oil, pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
