Pumpkin Pie (plăcintă Cu Dovleac)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  3. Beat in the eggs and stir in the milk until everything is well combined.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
