Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1 cup julienned cucumber
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup sliced beef or tofu for vegetarian option
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables and set aside.
- Cook the beef or tofu in a pan with vegetable oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Cook the eggs sunny-side up or to your preference.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the bibimbap sauce.
- Divide the cooked rice into 4 bowls. Arrange the vegetables, beef or tofu, and eggs on top of the rice.
- Drizzle the bibimbap sauce over the ingredients in each bowl.
- Gently mix everything together before eating.
