Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken feet, cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup rice wine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 piece ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine water, soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, garlic, green onions, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken feet to the pot and bring the liquid to a boil over high heat.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 2 hours, or until the chicken feet are tender.
  4. Once the chicken feet are tender, uncover the pot and continue to simmer until the liquid has reduced and thickened to a glaze-like consistency.
  5. Transfer the braised chicken feet to a serving dish and garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.
