Ingredients

  • 4 mackerel fillets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice wine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sugar, rice wine, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the mackerel fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated mackerel fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side.
