Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, sliced into rectangles
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced tofu in a single layer in a non-stick pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and green onion.
  3. Pour the sauce over the tofu slices and add water to the pan.
  4. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the tofu is heated through.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the tofu before serving.
