Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups finely chopped Napa cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 package of dumpling wrappers
- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1 cup sliced zucchini
- 1 cup baby spinach
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground pork, Napa cabbage, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper to make the dumpling filling.
- Place a small amount of the filling onto each dumpling wrapper, then fold and seal the edges to form dumplings.
- In a large pot, bring the broth to a boil and add the mushrooms, carrots, onion, and zucchini.
- Gently place the dumplings into the pot and let them cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the baby spinach and let it wilt for a minute before serving the hot pot.
