Ingredients

  • 4 mackerel fillets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sugar, and black pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
  2. Place the mackerel fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the marinated mackerel fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
