Ingredients

- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the beef, onion, and soy sauce to the pot. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the rice cakes and red pepper flakes to the pot. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Stir in the sesame oil and salt to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
