Ingredients
- 1 whole fish (such as sea bass or trout), cleaned and scaled
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, julienned
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut slits on both sides of the fish and place the sliced onions, garlic, and ginger inside the cavity.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the fish.
