Ingredients
- 1 lotus root, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 scallion, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the lotus root slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to turn golden brown.
- Season with soy sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped scallion and stir-fry for an additional 1 minute.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
