Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads

- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and ghee to form a crumbly mixture.
- Add water and milk to the mixture to form a smooth batter.
- Dissolve saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm milk and add it to the batter along with cardamom powder.
- Heat ghee in a deep frying pan and pour a ladleful of batter into the hot ghee to form a pancake shape.
- Cook on low heat until the edges turn golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pancake from the ghee and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess ghee.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make more pancakes.
- Once the pancakes are cooled, stack them on top of each other to form a tower.
- Garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios.
