Rajwadi Paneer Makhani

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked and blended
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  3. Now, add the cashew nut paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the cream and add the paneer cubes. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
