Rajwadi Paneer Makhani
Rajwadi Paneer Makhani is a rich and creamy paneer dish from the Gujarati cuisine that is sure to tantalize your taste buds with its aromatic flavors.
Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cubed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked and blended
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Now, add the cashew nut paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes.
- Stir in the cream and add the paneer cubes. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
