Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1/2 lb Hungarian sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and let cool.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with half of the sliced hard-boiled eggs and half of the sliced Hungarian sausage.
  5. Spread half of the sour cream over the sausage and eggs, then sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
  8. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
