Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package powdered fruit pectin
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, crush the raspberries with a potato masher.
- Add the chopped jalapenos, sugar, and lemon juice to the saucepan.
- Stir the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a full rolling boil.
- Add the powdered fruit pectin and continue to boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and skim off any foam.
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal with lids.
- Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes to seal them.
- Allow the jam to cool and set before serving.
