Ingredients
- 1 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios), chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast the semolina until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
- Meanwhile, in a separate pot, heat the milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Slowly add the roasted semolina to the milk mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add the cardamom powder and chopped nuts, and cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
- Once done, remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
