Raw Fish Salad ('ota 'ika)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh raw fish fillets, such as tuna or snapper
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the lime juice and lemon juice.
  2. Cut the fish into small cubes and place them in the citrus juice mixture. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
