Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef, finely minced
- 1 cup fine bulgur
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil, for serving
Instructions
- Soak the bulgur in water for 15 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- In a large bowl, mix the minced beef, soaked bulgur, chopped onion, mint, allspice, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving platter and spread it out evenly.
- Using a fork, create a decorative pattern on the surface of the kibbeh.
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil before serving.
