Ingredients

  • 2 raw mangoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine grated raw mangoes, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the mangoes are soft and the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add salt, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, black salt, and grated ginger. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let the chutney cool to room temperature.
  4. Transfer the chutney to a clean, airtight jar and refrigerate until ready to serve.
