Ingredients
- 1 kg red meat, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 4-5 dried red chilies
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 4-5 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the red meat pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Stir in the dried red chilies, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in the yogurt and cook on low heat until the meat is tender and the gravy thickens.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
