Ingredients

  • 500g beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil in the same pan. Add the onion and garlic, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the bell peppers, carrots, and green beans. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan. Season with salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine and heat through.
  6. Transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish and serve hot.
