Ingredients

  • 500g beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sambal oelek
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in the wok and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the sambal oelek and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the wok and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
