Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground reindeer meat

  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 cup lingonberry jam
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lingonberry preserves
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground reindeer meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and allspice until well combined. Shape the mixture into meatballs.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the lingonberry jam, beef broth, and lingonberry preserves. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
