Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup of cooked ground beef
- 1/4 cup of sofrito (Puerto Rican seasoning blend)
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender. Drain and mash the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes with the cooked ground beef, sofrito, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Take a small portion of the potato mixture and form it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Dip each potato ball into the beaten eggs, then roll in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated potato balls until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
