Rhapsodie Orientale (oriental Rhapsody)
This exquisite dish combines the flavors of the Orient in a delightful nouvelle cuisine creation.
Ingredients
- 200g of tofu
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
- 1/4 cup of cashew nuts
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
- Heat the sesame oil in a pan and sauté the tofu until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the garlic, ginger, and chili flakes for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and soy sauce. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the pan and toss to combine with the vegetables.
- Sprinkle with cashew nuts and serve hot.
