Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
  3. Add the cubed goat meat and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the basmati rice to the pot and stir to combine with the meat and spices.
  6. Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
