Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 cup jaggery
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Pinch of salt
- Water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the rice flour, grated coconut, jaggery, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into dumplings.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and gently drop the dumplings into the boiling water.
- Cook the dumplings for 10-12 minutes or until they float to the surface.
- Meanwhile, in another pot, prepare the coconut syrup by simmering coconut milk and jaggery until it thickens.
- Once the dumplings are cooked, remove them from the water and place them in the coconut syrup.
- Let the dumplings soak in the syrup for 15-20 minutes before serving.
