Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the rice flour with water to make a smooth batter. Set aside.
  2. Boil the mixed vegetables until they are soft. Drain and mash them coarsely.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
  4. Add the mashed vegetables, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the boiled and mashed potatoes with salt and garam masala.
  6. Take a portion of the rice flour batter and spread it on a hot griddle to make a pancake. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
  7. Serve the rice pancakes with the spicy mashed vegetables and potatoes on the side.
