Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 cup Riesling wine
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
- Add the beef cubes and brown them on all sides.
- Sprinkle the sweet paprika over the meat and onions, and stir to coat evenly.
- Pour in the Riesling wine and beef broth, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
