Riz Bi Haleeb is a traditional Lebanese rice pudding that is creamy, comforting, and delicately flavored with rose water and orange blossom water.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, combine the rice and milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sugar, rose water, and orange blossom water. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Serve the rice pudding in individual bowls, garnished with ground cinnamon.
