Riz Crevettes (fried Rice With Shrimp)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the diced bell pepper and mixed vegetables, and cook for a few minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the pan, along with the soy sauce, curry powder, and paprika. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the rice is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
