Ingredients

  • 1 whole duck
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 thin pancakes
  • 4 scallions, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Clean the duck and pat it dry. Brush the marinade all over the duck, inside and out.
  4. Place the duck on a rack in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  5. While the duck is roasting, heat the pancakes according to the package instructions.
  6. Once the duck is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
  7. To serve, place a few pieces of duck and some scallions in a pancake, roll it up, and enjoy!
