Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork belly
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pepper

  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Score the skin of the pork belly with a sharp knife.
  3. Rub the pork belly with salt, pepper, and minced garlic, making sure to get the seasoning into the scores.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, and water. Pour the mixture over the pork belly.
  5. Place the pork belly on a wire rack in a roasting pan, skin side up.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 2 hours or until the skin is crispy and the meat is tender.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
