Ingredients
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 200g cheese, grated
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 300ml warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, cheese, onions, salt, and sugar.
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes, then place it in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake the bread for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
