Romanian Cheese Pie (Plăcintă cu Brânză)

Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough can be formed into a ball.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out one part to fit the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the feta cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, and black pepper. Spread the cheese mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  5. Roll out the second part of the dough and place it over the cheese mixture. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
