Ingredients

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, flour, and salt to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and flatten each portion into a small disc.
- Place a plum half in the center of each disc and wrap the dough around the plum, forming a smooth ball.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- In a large pot of boiling water, carefully drop the dumplings and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
- Remove the dumplings from the water and roll them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and lightly brown the dumplings on all sides.
- Serve the dumplings warm, sprinkled with additional sugar if desired.
