Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup strong brewed rooibos tea
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, combine the brewed rooibos tea, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10-15 minutes until the glaze thickens.
- Place the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with the rooibos glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning the wings halfway through and brushing with more glaze.
- Once the wings are crispy and cooked through, remove from the oven and brush with any remaining glaze before serving.
