Roti John Extravaganza

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup minced chicken
  • 1/2 cup minced beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped spring onions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 8 slices of bread
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the minced chicken, minced beef, onion, garlic, spring onions, soy sauce, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  3. Spread the meat mixture onto 4 slices of bread and top each with another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
  4. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Dip each sandwich into the beaten eggs, coating both sides.
  6. Place the coated sandwiches in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Slice each Roti John in half diagonally and serve hot.
