Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
Instructions
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and cut them into triangles.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread slices until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat the milk, add saffron, sugar, and cardamom powder. Let it simmer until the milk thickens to form rabri.
- Arrange the fried bread slices in a serving dish and pour the rabri over them.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron strands.
