Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh calamari
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the calamari by removing the head, beak, and cartilage. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix together coconut milk, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, paprika, black pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
  3. Add the calamari to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the calamari for 2-3 minutes per side, until charred and cooked through.
  5. Remove from the grill and serve hot. Enjoy your Rukuruku!
