Ingredients
- 1 pound beef tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the sliced beef with flour, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and brown the beef strips. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and mushrooms until tender.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the sour cream and return the beef to the skillet.
- Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
