Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Season the beef with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve the sabana de res hot with rice and avocado on the side.
