Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Season the beef with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic. Cook until softened.
  6. Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the sabana de res hot with rice and avocado on the side.
