Sach Ko Chhrouk (stir-fried Beef With Basil)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Add fresh basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
