Ingredients

  • 1 lb mixed seafood (shrimp, fish, calamari)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a tagine or large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, and spices. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the mixed seafood, diced tomatoes, and green olives. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
